staying on the couch sick!!
The kids were up all night puking, so our plans of a picnic at the park have been replaced with eating dry toast while watching "The Jetsons". Oh well, there is plenty of time to get our "fun things" in. I have been truly blessed and will not have to work outside of my home all summer!! That means no daycare costs to worry about!
Unlike last summer, I am not going to be crazy and have a schedule that is hard to follow.
Here is a breakdown of our summer:
JUNE: summer reading program at the library (all summer), enjoy FREE movies at the theatre during the day, Adventures in Odessy at the discount theatre (free), Vacation Bible school, a couple family swimming sessions at the local pool and lots of popsicles..and working on some school work to stay updated.
JULY: having out of town family come and stay with us for the 4th of July, big BBQ while they are here and a trip to the waterpark, hosting Rendi's baby shower, camping at lake Tahoe at the end
August: swimming lessons, enjoying a visit from my brother, school shopping, bike rides, more BBQing and eating ice cream
IT SHOULD BE FUN!

*sigh* Don't you just love summer? It sounds like you guys have a great one ahead of you. I find myself feeling anxious for my kids to get a few years older so we can do all of those fun things and not have to worry about naps, diapers, bottles, formula, etc.
That's awesome that you are going to work from home too!
Rendi told me about the shower you are throwing (at least I think that was the one she was talking about... but maybe she's having more than one). I'm hoping to be able to make it up that way, especially since she's always teasing me about not ever coming up to see her. :)
By the way, hope you guys feel better very soon!
What is this I hear about brother visit in August? I assume this is Sean??? I really need to talk to him. I will have to see about doing some of those free movies with you!

Rendi, yes Sean is coming mid August and join us whenever for the movies. I'll have to find the schedule again and e-mail you.
Krystal-can't wait to see you at the shower in july-I will make sure you get an invite...I better get hoppin' on those so everyone has plenty of time to make it!
